National Youth Service (NYS) Opens Application Portal for Sixth Batch Enrolment
In a bid to support youth empowerment and employment opportunities, the National Youth Service (NYS) reopened its application portal on July 19, 2023. The reopening of the application portal marks the commencement of another application process for graduates interested in joining the sixth (6th) batch of the NYS program, set to be called up for recruitment, training, and deployment in December 2023/24.
NYS Engages Universities Stakeholders
The Executive Director and other senior management authorities at the National Youth Service (NYS) have held engagements with registrars of universities and colleges in Freetown. The purpose of these engagements was to remind registrars about the NYS and its mandates, and the role universities and colleges are to play in the implementation of the NYS 2016 Act and certificate verification.
