About NYSCA-SL.

The National Youth Service Corps Alumni Sierra Leone (NYSCA-SL) was founded on the 1st of September, 2019 in adhearance to Chapter ten (10) sub section 10.4 of the National Youth Service Strategy and roadmap for the implementation which states that " just like universities, the NYS should establish an Alumni Association for those who have passed through the NYS.

• The Alumni may be willing to donate substantial resources and help fund mobilization for the NYS".
• The Alumni shall aim to serve as a voice for ensuring that what is enshrined within the NYS Acts 2016 and the review act is visible to creating a positive impact on the lives of service corps members and the NYS directorate.
• Among other objectives, the NYSCA-SL seeks to support the interests, welfare and aims of the National Youth Service (NYS) and its alumni.
• It will institute and maintain a jointly beneficial bond between NYS directorate and its alumni, and encourage continued engagement of the association's members and development partners.
