NYS Executive Director Raises The Bar On Compliance With NYS Acts 2016
The Executive Director of the National Youth Service (NYS), Mr Onanah Jalloh has called on the third batch of NYS Corps Members to develop a common tie and a sense of common destiny to promote national unity and integration. The corps members are presently undergoing 21 days of orientation training at the Peace Training and Law Enforcement Academy at Hastings. Mr Jalloh informed Corps Members that they would be deployed outside there regions and districts of origin to develop a sense of patriotism and national ownership. By this, it will eliminate ignorance, remove prejudice and promote an understanding of the many similarities among ethnic groups in Sierra Leone, he added. The Executive Director concluded that NYS would provide equal opportunities to Corps Members regardless of religion, tribe, region or even political belief.
